About Space For Change

I am a highly qualified, accredited and experienced Cognitive Behaviour Therapist/Counsellor. I treat a wide range of problems and offer a professional, safe and supportive space for change. I have over eight years experience providing psychological services to adults and young people within NHS, local authority and educational settings. I offer an environment where you will feel safe, valued and supported in making changes to improve your life.

I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT and EMDR, as well as person-centred and psychodynamic counselling. I follow NICE (National Institute for Clinical Excellence) recommended guidelines for treating a range of difficulties.

I believe that each person is an individual and that what may suit one person may not necessarily work for another; I therefore adopt a flexible approach and encourage feedback from my clients. I strive to be sensitive to people’s cultural, ethnic and religious origins in my practice, and am LGBT friendly.

Benefits of therapy may include a more positive outlook, greater self insight, improved self esteem/confidence, positive behaviour changes and better relationships. Such changes can in turn translate into an enhanced sense of physical vitality and well-being.
